From the liner notes of Can You Hear Those Pioneers —

I think it's time that we put Western back in the country sound...

So sings Wayne Horsburgh on the Jasmine release, Can You Hear Those Pioneers.

Thousands of country enthusiasts around the world agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment as they recall the days when country music was recogniseable as such and each artiste has his or her own distinctive sound.

Whilst many people might believe in the sentiment expressed in that lyric, no one could live it more literally than Australian-born singer and yodeller, Wayne Horsburgh.

For as long as Wayne can remember, he has loved the sound of true country music and, whilst he is versatile enough to sing pretty much anything you ask him to sing, he is most passionate when singing the songs he grew up with.

And he grew up with a lot of Western songs!
