BRANSON & THE CITY

"Over the years, many people have asked, 'How does an Australian find his way to the Ozark Mountains?'

Well, it's a long story but I'll make it short. Back in 1990, Mickey Gilley was working the same festival that I was up in Wisconsin, the Hodag Country Music Festival. We got talking backstage and I virtually said, 'Now you guys all come from Texas?' and he said 'Well, we did but we're now in this little town called Branson, in Missouri. You should come visit sometime.'

So I took them up on that and the following year I scheduled a very short trip to Branson and absolutely loved the place."
